An African Princess is born… With great fanfare we launched our handmade dolls in 2008.
Each doll is made by hand. A pattern is cut out and sewn together. The body is then stuffed with soft Hollow Fiber.
No effort is spared and Wool is wound over cardboard and snipped to form the hair. Little ribbons adorn hair and clothing. Fanciful wands are attached for the Showstoppers range which includes African fairy wings and mounds of Organza embroidered frills on skirts.
Each doll is signed off by the person who made it.

Find our little "Girls" at John Lewis from the end of October , 2009. Each doll is made by a cooperative that supports a previously disadvataged Cooperative group.
